The Port of Tucson is building a 240,000-square-foot cold-storage 鈥渃ross dock鈥 designed to receive trucks with Mexican produce that will be loaded directly onto refrigerated boxcars. The facility is expected to be completed in three to four months, said Eli Peart, manager of leasing and special projects for the Port of Tucson, an intermodal freight hub near Interstate 10 and South Kolb Road.
