A New River couple has been sentenced to federal prison for defrauding Arizona’s Medicaid program of $12 million through a Mesa clinic that billed for services never provided. Prosecutors said the case is part of a much larger Medicaid fraud investigation that has led to dozens of convictions and hundreds of charges statewide.
The Trump administration is appealing a federal judge’s decision blocking access to Arizona’s voter registration database.
