It was expected for Arizona to come out Wednesday and take the matchup against Long Beach State personal considering the Wildcats lost three consecutive games in the Bahamas.Â
It wasn't even close, not even a little bit.Â
Arizona routed the 49ers 91-56 behind Allonzo Trier's 15-point performance on 6 of 7 shooting. Freshman Deandre Ayton went a perfect 6 of 6 shooting with 13 points and nine rebounds.
The major point of emphasis for the Cats after returning from the Bahamas was defense. Long Beach State had 19 turnovers and Arizona had nine steals and was plus-nine in defensive rebounding.

Trier, Parker Jackson-Cartwright and Miller spoke after the game, here's what they had to say:Â Â
